heys! :) came back yesterday, the flight is always the worst part, urgh :/ but at least I had all my shopping stuff in the suitcase to think about :) my favourite thing I bought: CSI COMPANION! I know, crazyy about CSI, and that book is great! I looked around everywhere for it, and I only had like 2 days left, so I was panicking like I always do. went to the Borders in Third Street where they said they have it, and it wasn't there. OMG, I almost cried D: thankfully, I found it after going up again while the store people looked for it for me, ahahah. and I got to eat cupcakes from Sprinkles! :) I was so excited to go there, it's really near the house I stay in. I read online that the line for those cupcakes can be up to 40 minutes long, so I was both nervous and excited. and guess what? no line at all! I could even take my time choosing the flavours. I picked Lemon, Black & White (vanilla icing w/ chocolate cake) and Dark Chocolate. it was yummy, and the box was to die for <3 altogether, it cost me almost RM30. for three cupcakes. my mum said I was crazy, but who cares? :D what else did I buy? A&F jeans that are gorgeous and a Coach bag. it's really affordable there, the only reason I don't really like it is cause loads of people here carry fakes COUGH losers COUGH. my mum got one, and we're sharing another. did I mention I ♥ Abercrombie and Fitch? :) oh, and the casinos in Vegas were awesome! they sold loads of CSI stuff :) Bellagio: the decoration in the conservatory was breath-taking! it's Spring there, so there were oversized flower pots with flowers everywhere, ladybirds and frogs made up from flowers, and even this 'shed' like thing that has butterflies fluttering in them. very gorgeous. the receptian desk has fountains behind them! imagine that NYNY: made to look like (duh) New York, they have the Statue of Liberty and all. only casino with a rollercoaster, they mention it in CSI :) the inside is all NY inspired, ie Upper East Side and Fifth Street. Venetian & Palazzo: they are different buildings, but are owned and connected to each other. the Venetian has one word to describe it: over the top. there are gondolas inside, (since it's made to look like Venice) and there are gold decorations everywhere. it's so huge, we couldn't even finish walking the whole place in two days. I had dinner one night in the Palazzo with my dad's business people, and it's like the fine-dining kind of thing. the desert alone cost RM32. and salad for two was RM89! I ate till I almost died, haha. the total bill (my dad told me) for 5 people was RM1530. omg, I know. MGM Grand: I find this place quite boring, but I had to go in there so many times to look at the lions. they have this lion area, and Caitlyn who's 6 loves it, so we have to go there. siiigh. on the other hand, I always see MGM in CSI... Luxor: to be honest, it looks like Sunway Pyramid, with the egyptian carvings and all. but the exterior is one of the coolest - the beam that emits from the tip of the pyramid can be seen in space. how cool is that? Caesar's Palace: I think it's my favourite. it stretches almost three blocks, and it's crazily big. rivals the Venetian in over-the-top-ness. I bought my Juicy Couture charm from in there. Flamingo: the oldest one I went into. it's iconic since it's one of the first few there. the inside looked old though :/ had buffett lunch in there, it was okay. Palazzo's dinner was better ;D Paris: self explanitory, right? they have this huge Eiffel Tower and hot air ballon by it. it's big and shiny, one of the newest. the inside ceiling is painted like the sky, so if you're in there at night, it still looks like day. oh, and casinos have no clocks and windows inside, so you completely lose yourself in there. scary, huh? :P
